How To Refill Lexmark 1 Ink Cartridge

Sunday, January 22nd, 2012

Looking for information on how to refill Lexmark 1 ink cartridge? We have a few ideas for you below.

lexmark 1 ink for printer

You can buy new at a local store such as Walmart or Best Buy, you can purchase online via at Amazon or buy via re-manufactured place such as Cartridge Ink.

If you opt for Amazon, they have them remanufactured at a very good rate, I found one for my Lexmark printer for less than$8 shipped.

On Amazon the customer reviews are mostly positive and for $8, you can’t really lose. If you decide to get your ink online via Amazon could you please come back here and let us know your experience with it? We want to hear more reviews from customers.

Cheers,
Danny

Stand Up Desk: Perfect for Not Sitting

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

I’ve heard of stand up desks before, but it wasn’t till recently that I gave it some serious thought and decided to look in to it further.

stand up desk

As someone who spends an ungodly amount of time behind a desk and chair, my body is starting to take a toll. Between my guest blogging service, my Keetsa articles and my personal sites and blogs – there’s only so much time that a body can take sitting down in a chair.

Well the time has come and I am now looking for a good stand up desk, so am starting my search where I start all my searches – Amazon.

Will let you know what I find? But if you have one yourself, do let me know below in the comment area what you recommend. Keep in mind my budget is south of $100.

Cheers,
Danny

The Five Best Ways To Make Money As A Stay At Home Mom

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

Well, now that SAHMS and WAHMs (Stay at Home Moms and Work at Home Moms) have become everyday acronyms, are you wondering how, exactly, they do it? Some say that nothing really changes under the sun, and it is really ironic that  some of the things women did in the past, such as crafts, to help the family along are often the secret to a new stream of income for the family.

crafts as money making idea for stay at home moms

- Write: Anyone who has taken a course in writing will remember the axiom that you should write about what you know about.  I don’t think anyone knows more about life and its problems than moms. Every day, more and more sites hire writers to create internet content (what you and I read everyday on the internet). A simple search will reveal them. Another great solution for would be writers is to be a local reporter. As long as you have a partner to watch the kids, you can sneak out after dinner and attend town meetings or local events and write about them for local publications. Fun and notoriety, since your neighbors get to see your byline.

- Crafts: You are sitting around all evening anyway, supervising homework or watching T.V with the kids; why not put the time to use? I know a lady who put her kids through college with her quilted wreaths. Her autumn ones were especially in demand, and word of mouth advertising meant that she didn’t have to either advertise or go to crafts fairs.

- Jewelry: Today’s crafted jewelry is so beautiful, that you wonder why anyone would want to buy manufactured jewelry?  Beautiful turquoise and stone pieces that cost a fortune in a store can be offered by home crafters at a fraction of the cost. The downside is that you normally have to sit at craft fairs on the weekends, although some successful jewelers hold their own in home shows a few times a year, with less cost and trouble

- Online advertising: A bit more complex, because it involves setting up a site and having the right keywords to attract people to it, but Google and Bing and Yahoo pay their site developers to carry ads on their sites and get paid for them! You can make a nice little monthly check if you do it right.

Market your expertise: What did you do before you stayed at home to take care of those little bundles of joy? Were you an accountant? Many small companies will hire someone to take home their bills to pay or bank statements to reconcile on a monthly basis. (And with remote computer access today, you may not even have to physically pick up the work.)  Did you do computer programming?   There is no end to the companies that need freelance programmers. In these uncertain times, they are very happy to hire “consultants” project by project rather than take on the burden of a new salaried employee.

There are many other options, but these are some that have proven to be the easiest, cheapest to enter and most cost effective over time, involving the least start up costs. SAHMs and WAHMs are no longer just doing the laundry.

On a daily basis, increasing numbers of people have the desire to discover ways to make cash fast. If you are a stay at home mom, here are various ways on how to make money at the convenience of your own home like selling stuff on eBay and Blogging.  Feel free to explore ideas online and also by doing a people search, you can look for blog experts who can guide you along the way.

Free Blog Set Up

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

Want a blog to promote your small business, product, service or one that you can make a bit of money on via advertising?

Listen up! I’m gonna share with you a listing on Fiverr where the member creates and does free blog set up. The catch is that in order to avail of this low cost service you need to order hosting through the member so a referral commission is passed along. There’s a tiny $5 admin fee which is payable via the site. Other than that, no fee for the blog set up.

This service is great for the following businesses and or people:

  • restaurants
  • real estate brokers
  • cafe shops
  • freelancers
  • and anyone who wants an online presence

So register a free account at Fiverr, send the seller a note via the contact seller page and then order up an awesome blog or website for five dollars.

If you already have hosting, then this offer is not for you. As you must sign up for hosting via the seller’s referral link in order to qualify for the free blog set up. No exceptions.

I know of this sweet deal because the listing is mine. Feel free to ask me any questions you have.
